This is a basic list of the books that I hope to read this year.

As you can tell, most are book series.

I have all of the books for each series listed, but if I don’t like it, I’ll change it up.

This is the order I’d like to read these books, but i’m indecisive and impatient, so it’ll most likely change.

I look forward to reading these books and letting you all know how they are.

Let the 2013 Reading Challenge Begin!!!

…props if you know what I just referred too. 🙂

2013 Book Challenge – Joana

Hello everyone, hope you are doing great! It is the end of the year/ the beginning of a new year, which means that it is time for resolutions and goals. I decided to do the 2013 book challenge for this New Year. I was originally going to read 15 books, but then I decided to literally ‘challenge’ myself and read at least 21. So that is what I am going to go with and if I do more, that would be awesome, but my goal is 21.

I made a list of books I really want to read. There are 3 complete series, a couple of single books, and then a bunch of first books in series, which means that if I start reading a series and love it so much, then I will probably change the books in that series for some I put as initial books, if that makes any sense.

I decided to make a list of the ones I want to read and to share it with you guys:

The Maze Runner by James Dashner

So there is something very important about goals: you need to create a reward. I think that what I am going to do is that I am going to buy 2 books every time I finish between 5 and 7 books. I am not sure about that yet, but I think that that is what I am going to do =]

Furthermore, I have been checking out other people’s lists, and a lot of people have as a goal to read more classics, to branch out from the YA genre. I am not going to do that, because I usually only read classics. I have just started reading YA books, and I want to catch up on series I haven’t read yet. I may or may not throw in a French classic, because those are my favorites, but it isn’t in my plans as of right now ^^

I am really excited to try this out and I hope I can beat this or at least accomplish it.

Are you guys doing a book challenge? What books do you want to read and what do you recommend?
